Spray mist every 2 to 3 days, more often in dry climates and less in humid climates. Weekly 20 - 30min baths, fully submerged.
Spray mist every 3 to 5 days, more often in dry climate and less often in humid climates. Dip in water every 1.5 to 2 weeks , submerging only the leaves.
Spray mist every week and a half. NEVER submerge, this could cause loss of trichomes. These types of plants can usually handle higher light too!
Tips & Tricks🤔
❤ Make sure your plant is fully dry within 4 hours of watering
🧡 Water and dry your plants upside down so water does not get trapped in leaves
💛 Never set your plant back in holder or hanger wet
💚 Use tap or collected rainwater
💙 Be sure to shake excess water off your plant before setting out to dry
💜 If your plant is flowering, ONLY spray mist to keep your flowers longer
🤎 Clumps will thrive more with heaver spray misting instead of submerging
🦄🌈🔆About Air Plants🔆🌈🦄
Tillandsia Air plants are native to Central and South America. They use their trichomes on their leaves to absorb nutrients from the air. They have grabbers that look like roots that can be taken off with scissors. They use these grabbers to attach themselves to trees, rocks & other plants. The majority of Air Plants flower. Most have pink or purple flowers. They only flower when they have hit maturity, this varies from plant to plant. When Air Plants are about to hit full bloom they can blush as well. This is when the leaves turn colors, usually these colors are pink and red hues. But wait, there is more! Air plants all produce "PUPS". These are babies that will traditionally grow around the base of the air plant. Pups usually come in right before, during , or after flowering! Pups can be taken off when they are about half the size of the mother plant!
►►►► IMPORTANT We never add color to our plants. We believe that they should grow naturally, without intervention.
